Titan America Announces the Acquisition of S&W Ready Mix Concrete Company

Titan America LLC is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of S&W Ready Mix Concrete Company ('S&W'), a primary supplier of ready mix concrete in the coastal North and South Carolina markets. S&W has 26 ready mix plants in strategic locations including the fast growing Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina markets.

"S&W complements Titan America's coastal concrete strategy and greatly accelerates our recently announced concrete expansion program in coastal North Carolina," noted Aris Papadopoulos, CEO of Titan America. "S&W has demonstrated an outstanding record of quality and customer service that has contributed to its success in the market," he added.

S&W will operate as a subsidiary of Titan America. Harry Shaw, who served as CEO of S&W and who, along with his partners Don Sutton and Earl Wells, built the company over the past 20 years and will continue as its President.

Titan's activities in this region include a major cement plant in Roanoke, Virginia, a cement import terminal in Norfolk, multiple cement rail terminals, ready mix concrete plants and a fly ash processing and marketing business.

Titan America is one of the premier heavy building materials producers in the Eastern United States, headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia. Its parent, Titan Cement Company, S.A. is headquartered in Athens, Greece.
